It’s Tax Season. Don’t Miss Your Energy Credits

It’s tax season again, and if you made energy upgrades to your home last year, now is when it pays off. If you installed a heat pump water heater, upgraded your HVAC system, or made other qualifying improvements, you may be eligible for the federal 25C energy tax credit. When you file, you will need to include the Qualified Manufacturer Identification number, for your new equipment, on Form 5695 to claim your credit properly.
